Flatwater Shakespeare Company is pleased to announce the hiring of Carter Fangmeyer as operations manager. With a strong history in Shakespearean theatre, education, grant management, and program administration, Carter is ready and able to contribute to Flatwater’s mission of education and entertainment.

A graduate of Nebraska Wesleyan University with a degree in English and Theatre Arts, Carter recently returned from a study program in England in collaboration with the Royal Shakespeare Company at Stratford upon Avon and is thrilled to utilize his organizational skills and enact his passion for education in collaboration with Flatwater and Shakespeare.

Carter is returning to the local theatrical scene after two years managing and administrating state grant funding as a contractor through Nelnet. Now serving as Administrative Assistant to the Theatre Arts department at Nebraska Wesleyan and Operations Manager at Flatwater, he is excited to lend his organizational skill to the community.

A lifelong resident of Nebraska, Carter grew up in Omaha inundated in the local arts scene. His love of theatre was passed down to him by his siblings, all of which involved themselves in the Millard South High School theatre where Carter began his own theatrical career. Carter continues to embrace the humanities by writing, working, and performing in the theatre.
