AUDITION INFORMATION
Three Performance Locations:
Lincoln Parks: 10/9 - 10/12
Omaha’s Bob Kerrey Bridge: 10/16 - 10/19
Wyuka Stables: 10/23 - 10/26
🎃 A Most Mysterious Invitation... 🕯️
From Mistress Page & Mistress Ford:
🧵 The Merry Wives of Windsor — stitched with Halloween flair and extra pins for poor Sir Falstaff.
Wit, whispers, and Cricut-cut chaos await.
🧺 The buck-basket returns — appearing at three haunted locations across Lincoln and Omaha.
👻 Costumed guests receive a free cup of Mistress Page’s Prickly Punch (NA but not to be trusted) — served cold, with a twist of revenge. 🥂
Auditions will be at Eastmont Retirement Village stage at 6315 O St, Lincoln, NE 68510
After you fill out the above form, we will send you a 3 minute timeslot via email. Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your audition timeslot. *
8/16 at 10am -12pm (Audition Day 1)
8/17 at 1pm - 3pm (Audition Day 2)
8/23 at 10am-12pm (Callbacks)
Please prepare a speech or sonnet in verse (at least 14 lines, no more than ~20) by either Shakespeare or one of his contemporaries (ideally not from Merry Wives). Selections can be either dramatic or comedic.
Rehearsals will generally be Mon-Thurs between 6 and 10pm and Sat between 1 and 5 pm from August 25 to October 8th.
The show will run from October 9th to October 26th at 6pm. We will perform at TBD Lincoln Parks: 10/9 - 10/12, Omaha’s Bob Kerrey Bridge: 10/16 - 10/19, Wyuka Stables: 10/23 - 10/26. Transportation car pools will be coordinated and travel expenses will be partially compensated.
ABOUT THE SHOW:
Hors D'oeuvres Theater!
Concept: The audience is invited to a “party”! During the show, the characters will be served various things to eat and drink. When they eat, the audience eats! Actors will serve various hors d'oeuvre- style plates to the audience as they play progresses. Fun!
Parks Performances are Open to the Public with a $20 Free Will Suggested Donation to support future productions.
$25 Picnic Baskets Will be Offered featuring grapes, crackers, cheese, smoked sausage, and a glass of Mistress Page’s Prickly Punch
